Title: Discrete Symmetries in Neutrino Oscillations
Speaker: Dr Paul Harrison (Queen Mary, University of London)
Abstract
The phenomenology of neutrino oscillations in the general three-family
case is reviewed, with particular emphasis on the violation of the
discrete symmetries CP and T. Theory is confronted with experiment, and a
particular form for the lepton mixing matrix emerges, which, within the
exerimental errors, exhibits three discrete symmetries. The future
prospects for more precise tests of these symmetries are summarised.
