Title: Prospects for the Neutrino Factory and Muon collider
Speaker: Dr William Murray (Rutherford Appleton Laboratory)
Abstract
The physics case for a neutrino factory keeps getting stronger. The motivation and physics prospects are examined, and then the machine is outlined. The Research & Development required to build it is discussed in some detail. Finally the case for the muon collider is re-examined.
This Particle Physics Seminar will take place in Seminar Room 2 (room 106), Physics West, at 1315. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be served at 1300.
