Abstract

Charge and CP asymmetries are measured in lepton+jets ttbar events in which a b-hadron decays semileptonically to a soft-muon, using 20.3fb^-1 of 8 TeV data collected with the ATLAS detector. Two charge asymmetries, which are functions of four CP asymmetries, are based on the charge of the lepton from the top-quark decay and the charge of the soft muon. The charge asymmetries are measured and the four CP asymmetries are subsequently extracted. All are found to be compatible with zero and consistent with the Standard Model.
