Abstract
The LHCb experiment is an experiment dedicated to studying CP
violation in the B system. It will use collisions provided by the LHC
at CERN and is due to start data taking in 2005. It will make a
comprehensive study of CP violation and by overconstraining the CKM
triangle will be able to look for indications of physics beyond the
Standard Model.
