Title: Latest Results from Belle and Plans for a Super B Factory
Speaker: Dr Tim Gershon (Warwick)
Abstract
The Belle experiment at the KEK-B collider has accumulated a large data sample of BB pairs. These data have been used to measure Standard Model parameters, and to constrain possible contributions from new physics. The latest results are briefly reviewed. The proposed Super B Factory will allow more precise measurements, complementing those which will obtained at LHCb. This proposal is discussed.
This Particle Physics Seminar will take place in Seminar Room 1 (room 103), Physics West, at 13:15. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be served at 13:00.
